I was fortunate to be born into my family; my mother, father, sister and brother are all delightful.
The nieces and nephews, now accumulating around us, provide great hope for the next generation.

My father is a pilot and still enjoys flying. We grew up flying in small planes at rather low altitudes.
This manner of flight transformed visually chaotic nature into a view out of the plane's window of an unexpected geometry; a patchwork of fields, rivers and other land formations.
This view of the world sometimes creeps into my work.

The music I listen to while I work, usually music which has some sort of narrative,
often insinuates itself into the pieces.
